It’s the Season of the Force at Disneyland Park, and select restaurants are celebrating with special Star Wars-themed food and beverages.

2025 Season of the Force Food & Drinks
Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo

Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo is located in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge near the Millennium Falcon. This year, it’s offering two updated versions of returning dishes — both featuring the same base as previous years but with new ingredients. Guests can also purchase the Coaxium Sipper here.
Dewback Chili Noodles – $17.99
Spiced Fettuccine Noodles, Gingered Ground Pork with Brussel Sprout Leaves, Shredded Red Cabbage

Dewbacks are a type of large reptile, primarily used as mounts or pack animals. They are known for their greenish leathery hide. They are native to Tatooine, though they can be found throughout the galaxy. They first appeared in “Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope.” In addition to appearing in dishes at Black Spire Outpost before, a sleeve wrapped with dewback leather is one of the available parts in the “Elemental Nature” lightsaber building experience at Savi’s Workshop.
The Dewback Chili Noodles are returning for a fourth year since their debut in 2022. The dish has undergone a few changes. The original used pappardelle noodles, which were swapped for the current fettuccine in 2024. Also in 2024, broccolini stems replaced the Brussels sprouts leaves. This year’s version is an amalgamation of the two, using the fettuccine from 2024 but reverting back to the Brussels sprouts leaves from 2022.
The spicy sauce of the noodles mixed with the gingered pork is excellent. The pork itself is perfectly cooked and seasoned, served atop a hearty amount of noodles. The Brussels sprout leaves come through with a nice flavor. It’s a decent, shareable serving, easily justifying the price point if you’re feeding two people.

Fried Chicken Baos – $14.99
Two Crispy Chicken Baos, Sweet Chili Sauce, Scallion Salad, Cucumber Coins

As we noted last year, the Fried Chicken Baos are unusual in that they don’t use the “in universe” name for chicken — tip yip. Other dishes at Docking Bay 7 use the tip yip nomenclature, and since the only returning part of this dish is the chicken itself and the bao, we feel Disney missed an opportunity to rebrand this dish with something that fits the theming better. Alas.
The Fried Chicken Baos debuted in 2024. At that time, they were served with spicy katsu sauce and creamy slaw. This year, the dish has a sweet sauce, scallion salad, and cucumber coins.
This is phenomenal. The baos are thin, light, and fluffy; pairing well with the tender, juicy chicken. The breading has a nice crunch which brings a lot to the table as far as texture. The fresh cucumber and scallion salad are strong accompaniments that work well to cut the spicy chili sauce. You can taste all the flavors in perfect harmony.
For a hearty meal for two, we recommend ordering both items here and splitting them.

Milk Stand

Over in Docking Bay 9 near the First Order TIE-Echelon ship is the Bubo Wamba Family Farms Milk Stand, offering the iconic blue and green milk. Returning for Season of the Force is the Toydaria Swirl.
Toydaria Swirl – $10.29
Green Milk with Chile-Lime Seasoning, and Mango Popping Spheres

Toydaria Swirl is named after the mid-rim planet of Toydaria, home to the Toydarians — a sentient species known for their long snouts and wings. Notable Toydarians include Watto of Tatooine. Watto and Toydarians in general were first introduced in “Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace.” Batuuans will be more familiar with local proprieter Zabaka, who owns and operates Toydarian Toymaker at Black Spire Market.
When the Toydaria Swirl debuted in 2020, it had chunks of mango rather than the mango popping pearls it has today.
Our distaste for the standard green milk is no secret (though it’s more palatable than the blue milk). On it’s own, the green milk is off-putting and lacking. However, it makes for a good mixer. With the chili-lime mixed throughout and the flavorful popping pearls, this is easily better than any other variation on the standard milks.

Oga’s Cantina

Black Spire Outpost’s Cantina, run by local proprietor Oga Garra, can be found on Merchant Row. For Season of the Force, there are a few returning items like Oga’s Obsession, plus the new Mandalorian Ne’tra gal Ale. A new souvenir Mythosaur mug is also available.
Oga’s Obsession – $8.50
Minute Maid Lemonade, Wild Strawberry Flavor, Yogurt-filled Popping Spheres, Strawberry & Grape Candy Pebbles, with a bursting Dried Fruit Mixture

This version of Oga’s Obsession is returning from the 2024 Season of the Force lineup. There was another dish by the same name before, but it was primarily cotton candy flavored with blueberry popping pearls.
This one is predominantly strawberry, with dried strawberries, gelatin, and popping pearls all bearing the same flavor profile. The Nerds candies add a fun texture to the dish. It’s a fun treat, nothing spectacular, but kids will likely enjoy it.

*NEW* Ne’tra gal Ale with Mythosaur Mug – $48
White Wampa Ale with apple cider and cherry purée

Ne’tra gal ale is a Mandalorian drink. In a pattern most commonly seen when serving a dish from another culture, the name is a bit silly in the native Mando’a. Like chai tea and naan bread before it, the name translates to Black Ale Ale. Presumably, they tacked Ale in Basic (English) at the end to make it clear to guests, but ale is also listed in the ingredients, so it probably wasn’t necessary.
It comes served in a souvenir Mythosaur mug. Mythosaurs are an important creature in Mandalorian history, being a large rideable creature native to Mandalore that was used as a mount by legendary Mandalorian leaders. The skull is used as a common Mandalorian symbol, seen on flags, armor, and more. For more about the mug, including the translated inscription, read our full article.
Canonically, Black Ale is a frequent indulgence of Mandalorian warriors, and is described as a sweet and fragrant milk stout similar to Makeson.
The real ale was a dark beer with mocha sweetness on the front end and a bitter finish. We appreciated the effort to bring a different type of themed beer to the Cantina, but it wasn’t particularly good. However, our team was lacking in beer drinkers, so enthusiasts’ mileage may vary.
It’s theoretically closer to Kri’gee, another Mandalorian ale which is described as a bitter version of Ne’tra gal.

*NEW* High Republic – $19.50
Patrón Silver Tequila, Triple Sec, Lime Juice, Pure Cane & Habanero-Lime Syrups, topped with Red Wine

This cocktail is named after the era preceding the prequel trilogy, known as the High Republic. It’s mostly been featured in novels, but “The Acolyte” and “Young Jedi Adventures” take place during the High Republic.
Drinking this was a strange experience. On first evaluation, it tastes exactly as you’d expect for red wine and tequila. It’s very tart but not terrible. Once we mixed it, however, it wasn’t drinkable. The proportions of alcohol and mixers is off, and stirring it leaves just the burn of tequila with a hint of the red wine. There’s a good drink in those ingredients somewhere, but this is not it.

Ronto Roasters

Visit Ronto Roasters in the Black Spire Market for two new items. The Coaxium Sipper is available to purchase here as well.
*NEW* Fried Falumpaset Cheese Skewer – $8.49
Crispy Potato, Mustard-Cheese Dipping Sauce

The Falumpaset is a large mammal native to Naboo, used as a beast of burden. They first appeared in “Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace,” used to haul shield generators for the Gungans. While not explicitly stated to be derived from falumpasets, presumably the cheese is produced from their milk.
Despite its unappealing visage, it’s fantastic. The exterior is akin to a chunky hash brown, which encloses a thick cheese filling. With the spicy mustard-cheese sauce (which is heavier on the spicy mustard than cheese), it’s perfection. We would recommend this and we’ll be back for more.

*NEW* Keshian Spiced Milk Tea – $7.29
Milk Tea, Horchata Jelly, Caramel Sugar Crisp

Keshians are humanoids from the planet Keshi. They were first introduced in the 2015 book “Before the Awakening” by Greg Rucka. Not much is known about Keshi, but a Keshian Spiced Cream cocktail was previously offered at Oga’s Cantina for Life Day 2024. It used the Keshian Spiced Milk recipe from “The Life Day Cookbook.”
Like the previous alcoholic offering, this is another fantastic drink. It has a subtle spice from the horchata, giving it a little hint of Christmas. The horchata coming from the jelly differentiates this from other similar beverages. We would recommend sharing this as it is very sweet. It runs the risk of becoming “too much of a good thing.” The caramel sugar crisp on top is similar to peanut brittle without the peanuts.

Galactic Grill

Located in Tomorrowland near Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, Galactic Grill is offering a slate of new items. It’s also the exclusive home for the Lightsaber Swizzle Sticks. In addition, guests can find the Death Star Bucket and Yoda Stainless Steel Tumbler.
*NEW* Galactic Gyro Burger – $16.49
Angus Beef & Vegetable Patty, Havarti Cheese Slice, Feta Tzatziki Sauce, Cucumber, Tomato and Red Onion served on a Toasted Ciabatta Bun, served with choice of Cuties Mandarin Orange or French Fries

Beyond the inexplicable connection to Star Wars, this is similar to a mediocre gyro you might find at the airport. It is, however, better than the regular burger here. The ciabatta is good independently, but it’s the wrong bread for this sandwich. It should have been a pita, or even a Ronto Wrap. That would have solved the bread issue and the lack of theming. Overall, the veggies and sauce cannot save this burger. The havarti cheese was not melted. All the pieces of this dish failed to come together in a meaningful way.
The side of fries were good, at least.

*NEW* Loaded Outpost Fries – $13.49
Crinkle-cut Fries and Onion Rings topped with BBQ Pulled Pork, Cheddar & Monterey Jack Blend, Pickled Red Onions, Roasted Corn, Sour Cream Drizzle and Green Onions

Most of the Season of the Force offerings at Galactic Grill are odd in that they seemingly have no connection to the event. This, at least, is named for Black Spire Outpost. It seems strange that its not served in its namesake.
All together, this is a very basic dish. The onion rings are good, and the fries are better than the regular offering. But there’s not enough of the subpar pulled pork or any of the accompaniments. Ultimately, this is two sides pushed together and the price is outrageous for what’s being offered. It’s not gross, but it’s not good either. Skip this and go for one of the choices in Galaxy’s Edge.

Pistachio-Cherry Parfait – $7.29
Layers of Pistachio Mousse, Red Velvet Cake, Cherry Pie Filling, Chocolate Pearls and Chocolate Popping Spheres

Why they are serving a treat that looks like Christmas instead of the traditional Darth by Chocolate is beyond us. Nothing about this dish says “Star Wars,” unless you make the very long leap to the colors of Boba Fett’s armor. Which is what Disneyland did back in 2022, when they had a different version of this parfait.
The cake is soft and moist with subtle mousse topping. It’s all lost under the (good, real) cherry pie filling. There’s nothing to counteract the sweetness of the filling, leaving a basic sugary dessert. We’d recommend it if you’re already eating at Galactic Grill — but we don’t recommend eating at Galactic Grill. The use of real cherry pie filling is an improvement over the previous version, It’s a decent dessert, but don’t go out of your way for it.

Passion Fruit Limeade – $6.99
Ginger & Passion Fruit Syrups and Lime Juice, garnished with Fresh Passion Fruit and Chia Seeds

For a passion fruit drink, there was little-to-no detectable passion fruit flavor. Instead, what we “enjoyed” was a watered down limeade. The chia seeds added an interesting texture, which we were mostly ambivalent about. Overall, Disneyland has a selection of strong and interesting lemonade options, and this is not up to par. Instead, head over to Country Bear Barbecue Jamboree for the Sparkling Strawberry-Pickle Lemonade, which is fantastic.
Rating out of 7: 3
Pi-Co Punch – $6.49
Pineapple Juice, Coconut Milk and Lime Juice garnished with Pineapple Chunks and Lotus Root

This was a disappointment, as we usually love tropical drinks. It might have gotten points for presentation if it was served at Black Spire Outpost. The lime juice is barely there. The drink tastes as if you squeezed a fresh pineapple into a small amount of coconut milk. It wasn’t repulsive, but it wasn’t worth our time or money.

Churros

Two churros meant to resemble lightsabers can be found at the cart near Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters. Please note that they are being served in regular wrappers, as opposed to the time at Disney’s Hollywood Studios when lightsaber-style holders were used.
Sour Blue Raspberry Churro – $6.50
Classic churro rolled in sour blue raspberry and silver edible glitter sugar

This is slightly elevated from the regular delicious Disneyland churros by a subtle blue raspberry taste and the adorable sprinkle stars.
Rating out of 7: 6
Spiced Red Cinnamon Churro – $6.50
Classic churro rolled in red hot cinnamon and gold edible glitter sugar

This is good, but it pales in comparison to the old Caliente Churro from Señor Buzz Churros in Disney California Adventure. It has a hint of the “red hot” cinnamon, but it’s too subtle to be significant. However, it’s still a Disneyland churro, so it’s not a bad choice.

Pretzels near Star Tours
Peka Pretzel – $8.25
Cream cheese-filled pretzel and taro-sweetened condensed milk topped with chocolate crème cookie crumbles

The pretzel is named for the town of Peka on Batuu, a fishing and farming settlement near Black Spire Outpost.
A hot, fresh Disney cream cheese pretzel is a rarity in Florida, so this was a delight in that regard alone. The toppings make this spectacular. The taro-sweetened condensed milk combined with the chocolatey cookie crumble makes this the perfect dessert to end the day. It’s large and shareable.
