After a few days of being covered by blackout stickers, the windows at Disney Wonderful World of Sweets are clear and the show kitchen is visible once again.
Show Kitchen Windows Restored

Just a few days ago, we reported that all of the windows outside and inside Wonderful World of Sweets that looked into the show kitchen were covered by black stickers. When we passed the store again today, all of the black stickers have already been removed. The windows show the kitchen located inside Wonderful World of Sweets, where Cast Members are often creating new sugary treats waiting to be sold in the store.

When we reported the addition of the stickers, no major construction was visible and the cause for the windows to be blocked was unknown. The reason for the temporary stickers is still unknown, as the show kitchen looks unchanged from when it was last visible.

Above is an image of the windows on the outside of the store just a few days ago. Every window has a black sticker cut to fit the window frame on the left side of the building. The interior windows, including the glass door leading into the kitchen for Cast Members, were similarly covered.

Disney Wonderful World of Sweets is a confectionery shop located in the Downtown Disney District. The store was added as a part of the ongoing transformation of the Downtown Disney District, which has also included the opening of new stores like the Disney Storyland Boutique and the Avengers Reserve store. Construction is still ongoing in Downtown Disney, as Tortilla Jo’s is being demolished for two new restaurants and the facade of the former ESPN Zone building is being replaced.
The store opened in January of this year, and we have a full tour article showing pictures of the interior spaces as well as the kitchen. If you prefer to watch videos, we also have a full YouTube walkthrough below.
