The construction walls surrounding what will be the new coffee shop coming soon to Disney’s Pop Century Resort have been removed, and some temporary curtains have been installed in their place.
Coffee Shop Curtains at Pop Century Resort
Everything POP Shopping and Dining at Disney’s Pop Century Resort has been undergoing refurbishment for the past several months. While the majority of the area reopened at the end of January 2025, one of the food stations remained covered by white construction walls. Disney later confirmed this area will become a new coffee shop station.
The coffee shop spot is located to the left of the semicircle of food stations, close to the checkout area. All of the construction walls have now been removed, and temporary black curtains have been set up instead. The curtains block guests’ view inside the new area, though they are much more sheer than the walls.
The installation of curtains implies the coffee shop is close to being finished at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, as the curtains are easier to move than the walls.
For comparison, above are images of this area when the white construction walls were still in place. The walls wrapped around this whole side area, from the back corner to the metal barricades on the right.
According to a nearby Cast Member, the current schedule for the new coffee shop area is for it to open sometime in April 2025. Disney has not announced a grand opening date or a name for the coffee shop yet, though it has been confirmed to match the style of the other renovated areas of the Everything POP.
The renovations at Disney’s Pop Century Resort match similar work completed at most of the Walt Disney World Value Resorts. The World Premiere Food Court at Disney’s All Star Movies Resort also received a complete refresh with new theming.
