As we discussed on our last show, Disney announced that a standby queue will now be offered for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and for Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind. Last week was the first week without the Virtual Queue system. Some love the freedom of being able to stand in line, while others feel this is a downgrade for these attractions. This has been a very divisive topic in the Disney Community, so we’ll give our take and look forward to hearing yours!
Up the road, Universal is less than 3 months from the official opening of their newest park, Eoic Universe. This weekend, Team Members were invited to special previews of the new experiences, and the feedback has been amazing! We’ll talk about the latest details on this next innovative theme park.
It’s festival time, and Disney has them going on both coasts. At Disneyland Resort, Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival opened this weekend. We’ve got a look at some of the menus and merchandise. Then, this weekend, at EPCOT, the International Flower & Garden Festival will open on Wednesday. We’re going to share some of our favorite foods and offerings to look out for.
Hong Kong Disneyland is about to celebrate its 20th Anniversary. This week, we heard more about their plans for their 20th and beyond including an Encanto Parade Float, Merchandise, Food, and Starting Month for the event. They also teased future plans for expansion including new Pixar and Marvel attractions coming soon.
We’ll also talk Muppets, the Blizzard Beach 30th Anniversary Celebration, New wands at Harry Potter, Butterbeer Season, and of course, popcorn buckets!
