Construction is progressing on the Downtown Disney District Monorail Station which has been closed since January 6, 2025, for the installation of new ticketing gates.
Downtown Disney District Monorail Station Construction

In our last update, we reported that crews were at work on the new structure being built and new signage had been hung as well. Construction walls are still present with a chain link fence covered in green scrim between them.

Behind the green scrim, part of the structure being built is visible. The structure has a white roof with red tape around the edge. Poles extending from the roof also have pieces of red tape on them.

From around the corner, more of the new platform can be seen over the scrim-covered wall. The pole under the structure is covered in plastic with red tape at the top. The top of the blue gate also appears to have red tape on it.

Side paneling has been installed on the structure and plaster, cement, and paint are being added to the new structure as well. Plastic and red tape cover the top of the blue railing.

A look through the tree branches gives another view of the beams covered in plastic and the blue railing as well. Also visible is a wooden beam stretching across the area with a piece of plastic draped over it.
The Disneyland Monorail has an expected reopening date of March 7, 2025, with operational hours of 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. listed for that day.
