Construction walls and scrim have appeared around Pinocchio’s Daring Journey at Disneyland Park.
Pinocchio’s Daring Journey Construction
Tan construction walls detailed with brown wood surround the extended queue for the attraction.
The matching tan scrim stretches upwards above a section of the construction walls. Noticeable through the scrim is the scaffolding that has been installed.
With the extended queue space being blocked off by the walls and scaffolding, the extended queue has been moved in front of the construction walls instead. Stanchions with ropes and purple flags have also been added to direct guests to the new line.
The scrim and construction walls sit right up against the facade of the attraction, as seen above.
Stroller parking is still available near the back of the temporary extended queue line.
Pinocchio’s Daring Journey remains open for guests to enjoy while construction work is being done. Disney has made no mention of the intentions of the walls and scrim, so the work is likely for routine maintenance.
Pinocchio’s Daring Journey retells the story of the classic Disney animated film, “Pinocchio.” Guests travel aboard a woodcarver’s cart through scenes from the film, including the Stromboli Puppet Theatre, Pleasure Island, and an encounter with Monstro the Whale.

“it’s a small world” at Disneyland is also undergoing refurbishment work with the iconic clock face being recently removed and a section of new pavement installed near the ride.
