It seems even more refurbishment is taking place at the Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom Park, as new construction walls and a tarp have been added to a section of the attraction’s queue.
Haunted Mansion Construction Walls and Tarp

As we previously reported earlier this month, the Duke and Duchess animatronics inside the Haunted Mansion graveyard scene were recently repaired. It appears Disney is not finished refurbishing the mansion, however, as a new construction wall and tarp have been added to a section of the queue.

The new wall is located on the right of the exit path leading out of the attraction. The wall blocks guests from walking behind the ghostly hearse sitting in the middle of the stone path. The wall has been painted dark brown to somewhat match the color of the nearby bricks.

The wall only reaches to about chest height, so it is relatively easy to see the work taking place on the other side. The ground behind the hearse has now been completely covered by a tan tarp.

The tarp has been spread out to cover most of the stone walkway around the back of the hearse, and it leads all the way to the attraction’s queue on the opposite side. There are no tools or other construction materials present yet, so the nature of this work is still unknown.
