‘Captain America: Brave New World’ Streaming on Disney+ Later This Month

Disney and Marvel announced the Disney+ streaming date for “Captain America: Brave New World.”

The Marvel film will be on Disney+ starting on May 28, 2025. It was originally released in theaters on February 14, 2025. It stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Captain America, Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres/Falcon, and Harrison Ford as Thaddeus Ross/Red Hulk. The film is directed by Julius Onah from a screenplay by Onah, Peter Glanz, and Matthew Orton.

Currently in theaters is Marvel’s “Thunderbolts*”, which marks the end of Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Phase Six begins with “The Fantastic Four: First Steps,” releasing on July 25. It will be followed by “Avengers: Doomsday” in May 2026, “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” in July 2026, and “Avengers: Secret Wars” in May 2027.

Additional films still officially in the works but with no release dates include “Armor Wars,” Black Panther 3, “Blade,” a Shang-Chi sequel, and an X-Men film.

Coming to Disney+ this June is the Marvel series “Ironheart.” It will be followed by the animated series “Eyes of Wakanda” in August and “Marvel Zombies” in October. “Wonder Man” is expected to premiere this December. “Vision Quest,” a follow-up to “WandaVision,” is set to stream next year.
