Disney Live Entertainment has shared a first look at the completed murals and new signage for the upcoming Disney’s Hollywood Studios stage show, “Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After.”
First Look at Exterior Decor for ‘Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After’
The first look at the updated exterior for the Sunset Showcase Theater was shared via a post on the official Instagram accounts for Disney Live Enteratinment and Disney Parks.
Up first is a view of the completed Sunset Showcase Theater mural, which features a broken glass motif with the show’s wordmark. The mural was in the works for just over a week before it was completed.
Next is the backstage gate in this area, which continues the broken glass theme with a three-dimensional “Villains: Unfairly Ever After” logo.
Finally, the show’s entrance sign, complete with showtimes and appropriately themed featuring comedy and tragedy masks, was also unveiled. The sign was first installed earlier this week, but was covered with scrim until now.
Disney recently shared a first look at the new show, with photos of Captain Hook, Maleficent, and Cruella De Vil performing onstage. The show will ask audiences to decide which Disney Villain is truly misunderstood and has had the most unfair treatment, and will include a new original song.
“Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After” will debut next week, May 27, 2025, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” will also begin performances on the same day.
