Blue corn tortilla chips with ground beef, cheese, and more—part of our Summertime Menu at Pym Test Kitchen.

REVIEW: New Pym Test Kitchen Summertime Menu Items Including Impossible Nachos

Jamie Rowland

We headed over to Pym Test Kitchen in Avengers Campus to refuel on two new summertime menu offerings.

Neutron Nachos – $13.99

Blue and Red Corn Tortilla Chips, Impossible Taco Meat, Seasoned Black Beans, Cheese Sauce, Pico De Gallo, Sour Cream and Pickled Jalapeños

Blue corn nachos like those at Disneyland, topped with beef, cheese sauce, jalapeños, salsa, and red tortilla chips.

The taco meat is well seasoned, and you definitely wouldn’t know it’s Impossible until specifically told so, and the pico de gallo is very flavorful. However, the dish is too salty and the cheese sauce is kind of gross. A kid’s meal version of these nachos, called “Nachos Assemble”! is also available for $9.99 and comes with with yogurt, a Cuties Mandarin Orange, and a small DASANI Bottled Water.

Proton Potation – $17.50

Vodka, Lemonade and Grenadine with Cherry-flavored Popping Spheres

A red and pink ombre drink with ice at Pym Test Kitchen in Disneyland, served in a clear cup on a white table.

The description made it sound like it was essentially an alcoholic Shirley Temple, which it doesn’t really taste like. If anything you get a hint of lemonade, but you really can’t taste the vodka, the grenadine, or the cherry. A similar, non-alcoholic drink is available at Pym Test Kitchen, as well.
