According to the Walt Disney World website, the Belle Vue Lounge will be temporarily closed for a brief refurbishment later this month.
Belle Vue Lounge Refurbishment
The Belle Vue Lounge is a small area located inside Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, just off the side of the main lobby building. According to a new update on the official Walt Disney World website, the lounge is now scheduled to be closed from June 9 to June 11.
The lounge is typically open from 4:00 pm to midnight each day and features a quaint 1930s-style sitting room where radios play programs from the era. A variety of specialty cocktails, wines, beers, and liquors are available for guests looking to unwind at the end of a park day.
During this time, the nearby cafe Carousel Coffee will offer bar service from 4:00 p.m. to midnight with a modified version of the Belle Vue Lounge menu. Since the closure is short, this refurbishment is likely just for routine updates such as maintenance.
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and Villas have been going through a years-long renovation, including recently updated lobby furniture. The lobby was fully remodeled two years ago, with the rooms also receiving a remodel in 2023. Around the same time period, the Belle Vue Lounge received new furniture and Carousel Coffee replaced Dundy’s Sundries.
Outside the lobby building, the actual boardwalk has had several business changes. Big River Grille and Brewing Works closed last year, while JellyRolls closed earlier this year. Since 2022, BoardWalk Deli, BoardWalk Ice Cream, Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs, and The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers have all opened as replacements for older offerings.
