Leftover Pizza Can’t Be Taken Away From Pizza Moon at Epic Universe

Epic Universe guests hoping to take their Pizza Moon leftovers home or back to their hotel room are out of luck as the quick-service restaurant is currently “dine-in only.”

Pizza Moon has previously offered boxes for food, but has none as of Tuesday, June 17. Beyond that, team members are telling guests they can’t leave the building with their pizza at all.

We wanted to take our pizza to Meteor Astropub, which does have boxes, but we were told no. It seems the only way guests could take their pizza somewhere else is if they smuggled it away in a bag.

The rule is strict, regardless of whether you have a slice, half a pizza, or a full pizza. We were offered a refund, but that doesn’t solve the issue of food waste.

Mobile order is also not working today (June 17), and Pizza Moon is only offering a limited menu. Pizzas missing from the menu include the Hala Kahiki Mahina, Space Cowboy, The Giant Mushroom, and Harvest Moon. Check out the full menu for the pizza restaurant.

  1. I also was not allowed to take out my Pizza and this was back during the Previews. They told me it had to due with the types of fresh ingredients they were using that go bad really fast in the hotter weathers. It was rainy and kinda cold that day, but they just said it probably was going to be a policy that would never change no matter the weather just to keep people from being confused.
