Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2
After its record-breaking premiere, it came as no surprise that Disney announced the series would be renewed for a second season. It was also confirmed that the second season would chronologically follow the book series of the same name. The first season was inspired by the first novel in the series by Rick Riordan, The Lightning Thief, while season two will be inspired by the second book, The Sea of Monsters.

Disney recently revealed the first new poster and release date set for December 10, 2025. The trio stands on a rock in the middle of the raging sea, with the large tentacle of a monster looming ominously in the background. This poster is likely a nod to Charybdis and Scylla, monsters from Greek mythology that Percy, Annabeth, and Grover face in The Sea of Monsters.
The announcement did not include any information about the number of total episodes, or how many episodes the premiere will include. Disney+ also shared the first teaser trailer for this second season., which you can watch below.

Riordan, who also acts as co-creator of the series, confirmed the third season will include several fan-favorite characters, including the introduction of Nico di Angelo, who has now been cast.
