Magic Kingdom

• Tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom are now on sale for guests staying at a Walt Disney World resort and other select hotels.
• The famous “Tom (hearts) Becky” painted fence is now gone from Tom Sawyer Island at Magic Kingdom.
• The Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away parade debuts at Magic Kingdom on July 20, and it’s confirmed that fans will be able to listen to the soundtrack on music streaming services like Spotify.

EPCOT

• The EPCOT bus stop expansion seems to be nearing completion as crews install final paneling and work on lighting.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

• Tickets for Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios are now available for resort guests to purchase.
• The beloved BDX droids have arrived at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios for a limited time.

• The Sea Turtle Cookie is back at Gideon’s Bakehouse for the second half of July 2025.

Disneyland Park

• Though the Disneyland Resort 70th Anniversary Celebration began in May, the actual anniversary falls on July 17, 2025, and Disneyland will have several special offerings on the date.
• As part of the preparations for the Sherman Brothers tribute coming to the Main Street Cinema at Disneyland, a decorative banner has been hung. 
• Disney CEO Bob Iger will ring the opening bell of the New York Stock Exchange on July 17, 2025, in honor of the 70th anniversary of Disneyland.
• So Much That We Share: A Tribute to the Sherman Brothers has opened at the Main Street Cinema as part of the Disneyland 70th anniversary celebrations.

• The 2026 Disneyland Resort wall calendar featuring photos from the parks is now available for purchase.
• Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland has two new plush toys inspired by Star Wars creatures.

• The new “Dreams Take Flight” stage show premiered at Tokyo DisneySea on July 16, 2025.

• A new collection of Disney Fisher Price toys and a Tinkertoy set from the Disney Store are inspired by real retro ’80s and ’90s toys.
• Hallmark’s 2025 The Haunted Mansion collection includes a cookie jar that plays sounds from the famous Disney ride.

Universal Orlando Resort

Universal Studios Florida

• Another scare zone has been announced for Halloween Horror Nights 34 at Universal Studios Florida, titled “The Cat Lady of Crooked Lane.”
• The bridge that usually provides a shortcut across the Universal Studios Florida lagoon from Springfield to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is currently closed for refurbishment.
• Though Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit at Universal Studios Florida is set to operate for another month, crews have already started demolition work in the area, leading to a giant pile of dirt visible in CityWalk.

Entertainment and Media

• Nintendo has found its hero and princess, as the leads have been cast and announced for the upcoming live-action “The Legend of Zelda” film.
• Disney and Pixar have released the first trailer for “Hoppers,” an original film releasing in theaters next March.
• Freakier Friday popcorn buckets and sippers from Marcus Theatres look like they have swapped bodies.
