New ‘Star Wars’ Baby Bantha Plush Available at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

A new baby Bantha plush creature is now available in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Six plush toys with shaggy brown fur and faces are displayed on wooden shelves resembling a crate.

We found the new plush at Creature Stall in the Galaxy’s Edge marketplace. At this exotic shop, you’re free to explore as you peek into cages and crates filled with hard-to-find species from distant worlds, such as the Bantha.

Baby Bantha Plush – $29.99

A small, plush toy creature with wild brown fur, big round eyes, and a wide mouth sits on display.

The plush has large brown and black marble eyes on a tan face with large lips surrounded by lots of fuzzy fur.

Spiral horns grow from each side of the creature’s head. While difficult to see underneath all the brown fur, the baby Bantha does have four nubby feet that help it stand upright.

A hand holds a furry, brown Star Wars-themed creature puppet with armor-like details in a store display.

Banthas are the huge fuzzy animals with spiral horns often used as mounts or pack animals in the “Star Wars” films. As such, the new plush comes wearing a muted purple and blue saddle for riding or carrying goods. One important note is that the saddle is sewn directly onto the Bantha with some short thread, so it is not easily removable unless you go underneath to cut it off.

Like most items in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the baby Bantha has a orange, rusty-style tag in place of the usual Disney-branded tag.

Banthas are native to many planets in the “Star Wars” galaxy, most notably Tatooine. The first canon appearance of a Bantha was in “Episode IV – A New Hope.”

A new Resistance utility belt bag set is also available from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
