Universal Studios Florida now has signs for the new Halloween Horror Nights shows Haunt-O-Phonic and Nightmare Fuel: Circus of Decay. The Mutations: Toxic Twenties and Cat Lady of Crooked Lane scare zones also have new details.

Haunt-O-Phonic Sign

A Haunt-O-Palooza sign displays showtimes on a city street under a clear blue sky, with trees in the background.

Haunt-O-Phonic: A Ghoulish Journey is a brand new lagoon show. Near Central Park, the lagoon’s viewing area, is a purple sign featuring the Haunt-O-Phonic logo and showtimes. It’s attached to a tower with a record-inspired sign on top.

Large purple sign with skeletons displays “Haunt-O-Phonic” showtimes: 9, 10, 11 PM, and 12 AM at an outdoor venue.

Cartoon skeletons are around the showtimes, which are 9 p.m., 10 p.m., 11 p.m., and midnight. The Haunt-O-Phonic logo is made of sound waves in a purple-orange ombré.

A vinyl record with a haunted house cover held up high against a blue sky with wispy clouds.

On top of the tower, a record is peeking out of its sleeve, which showcases a cartoon haunted house in front of a full moon.

The “Ghoulish Journey” subtitle alludes to Ghoulish! A Halloween Tale, which was performed for Halloween Horror Nights 31 in 2022. Here’s the new show’s description:

A ghost story is rising from its watery grave to haunt the Universal Studios lagoon, featuring towering water screens and eerie music.

Mutations: Toxic Twenties

Two large, green rat trap props with fake slime and flowers stand outside near a building.

In the park’s New York area are these two new halves of a billboard, not yet pushed together into one display. It advertises Rat-Tap-Tap – a new product of BzzzCon! It looks like a hole has been blasted through the billboard.

A sign reading "A Melt Product of Bzzzcon" is splattered with green slime, above colorful flowers and ferns.

There’s green toxic splatter on the billboard, dripping down onto plants. Here’s the story of the scare zone:

In a 1920s neighborhood, a BuzzCon truck with radioactive cargo crashes into a mobster getaway car sending the city into toxic pandemonium.

Two large green “tap” boxes covered in fake green slime and decorated with flowers in an industrial outdoor area.

The radioactive cargo may be the rat poison advertised on this billboard. There are large prop rats in the scare zone.

A green sign with flowers at the base is splattered with green paint, set against a cloudy sky and industrial backdrop.

Dead rats are pictured on the billboard wearing BzzzCon bowties.

Nightmare Fuel: Circus of Decay Signs

Outdoor stage set up for Halloween Horror Nights, featuring a large "Nightmare Fuel: Curse of the Bayou" banner.

The large Nightmare Fuel banner is up outside the Fear Factor theater. The banner features a circular saw, skulls rimmed in purple fire, and grim reapers.

Banner with skulls and purple flames reads "Nightmare Fuel: Circus of Decay" in stylized, metallic letters.

Nightmare Fuel: Circus of Decay seems to be a sequel to last year’s Nightmare Fuel: Nocternal Circus. Here’s the new show’s description:

This once-vibrant circus has festered into an unending nightmare. It’s a sinister spectacle of pyro, aerialists and illusions.

Another Nightmare Fuel sign includes showtimes: 8 p.m., 9:30 p.m., 11 p.m., and 12:30 a.m.

Sign for “Nightmare Fuel: Circus of Decay” showtimes at 8:00, 9:30, 10:00, and 12:30, with warnings and trees behind.

It also lists warnings. Parental discretion is advised, and guests with medical sensitivity to strobe effects and fog affects should not attend.

The Cat Lady of Crooked Lane

A Halloween garden display with tombstones, fake dirt mound, skeleton hands, and colorful tents in the background.

More props are in the graveyard of The Cat Lady of Crooked Lane scare zone. These include additional headstones, which are hand-painted wooden planks. There are also autumn leaves and dirt.

Pet memorials with names, toy bones, and fake birds arranged on a grassy hill with colorful leaves and plants.

Some of the headstones have small pictures of real cats. Some are wrapped in twine or ribbon. They have more foliage appearing to grow around them.

Halloween Horror Nights 2025 kicks off on August 28 with the sold out Premium Scream Night before officially beginning on August 29.
