According to a post online, a Disneyland Resort guest left their dog alone in the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure.
Dog Left in Mickey & Friends Parking Structure
The story of the dog was shared online on Reddit by user Opposite-Spare8637. According to the post, the dog was found at roughly 8:00 p.m. by the user. The windows of the car were cracked, but the user commented was reportedly still around 80 degrees in Anaheim at the time.

Food and water for the dog were provided in the backseat, but the dog was “barking its head off.”
In the comments, the user states that they personally called Disney security to handle the situation. The guests were told to give the animal space, and that security was trained to handle these situations. The user then vacated the area while security rescued the dog, “Yes security came to handle it, we were told to give the dog space and that they’re trained to take care of it so we left.”
Leaving Dog in Parking Garage

In the state of California, it is illegal to leave an animal unattended in a vehicle:
Per the California Penal Code 597.7 it is illegal to leave an animal in a car if by doing so you endanger the health or well-being of the animal. Do not leave an animal in your car during hot or warm weather. Other factors to consider are if the car is in the sun and if the windows are rolled up not allowing ventilation. Your best course is to leave your pet at home when you run errands.

WDWNT does not have any further details of the incident at this time.
However, Disneyland Resort is no stranger to guest incidents. Among recent events, a child was left unattended at Disney California Adventure while his family rode Guardians of the Galaxy—Mission: BREAKOUT! A naked man also climbed atop one of the structures at Tiana’s Palace restaurant in Disneyland Park earlier this year.
