The DreamWorks Imagination Café menu has reopened after a brief refurbishment at DreamWorks Land in Universal Studios Florida. There are two “new” menu items and the interior has been updated.
DreamWorks Imagination Café Updated Menu
The new menu items include Swamp Strips and Poppy’s Party Mac, inspired by Shrek and Trolls, respectively. The Ogeroni and Ogre Cheese Pizzas, Po’s Kung Fu Bao, Can’t Stop The Donut, Strawberry Softpaws, and Boss Baby Beignets remain available.
The Swamp Strips appear to be regular chicken tenders with fries and a choice of BBQ sauce or honey dijon. Poppy’s Party Mac is a vegetarian option, as it is a creamy baked macaroni and cheese.
DreamWorks Imagination Café Refurbishment
The tiling throughout the interior was redone. The bright blue tiles on the front of the counter were replaced by darker blue tiles. The white floor with colorful accents was replaced by gray squares.
The white wall tiling was updated and no longer has blue accents. The biggest difference is the tiling behind the menu screens.
The new tiles are beige and arranged in a herringbone pattern. The photo below is from below the renovation.
Previously, the tiles were bright blue, aqua blue, and pink stripes.
Before this location was DreamWorks Imagination Cafe, it was KidZone Pizza Company, which had an even more colorful design.
The official Universal app states the quick service location will be open from 11 AM- 7 PM daily. This location is the very same one where “dog food” was briefly available.
Whether you’ve got an ogre-sized hunger or a Troll-sized appetite, head to DreamWorks Imagination Café for tasty Ogreroni Pizza and Ogre Cheese Pizza, Boss Baby Beignets, Can’t Stop the Donut! and Strawberry Softpaws, along with frosty beverages.
