The Disneyland Resort website now has available dates listed in June and July 2026 for the Explore Key, which is the replacement for the retiring Enchant Key.
As you can see, in the above image, the big difference between the Enchant Key and the new Explore Key is 39 additional days in June and July.
The new Explore Key includes 43 days, whereas the Enchant Key only included 4 days.

What is happening to the Enchant Key pass?
The Enchant Key pass will no longer be available for purchase or renewal starting January 13, 2026.
If you’re currently an Enchant Key holder, you can keep using your pass until it expires. When it’s time to renew—and you do so on or after January 13, 2026—you’ll have the option to renew into a different pass type, including the new Explore Key pass.
Explore Key Versus Enchant Key
Current Enchant Key holders received this email on November 4:
Upcoming Changes for the Enchant Key Pass
Hi Magic Key Holder,
We wanted to let you know that the Enchant Key will no longer be available for purchase or renewal starting January 13, 2026. Your current Enchant Key will remain valid until its expiration date, so you can continue enjoying its benefits until then.
If your renewal date is before January 13, you’ll still have the option to renew your Enchant Key for one more year. Beginning January 13, you’ll be able to choose from other available Magic Key types—including the new Explore Key pass, which will offer similar benefits to your current pass, plus expanded access during the summer months.
We appreciate you being a part of our Magic Key community and look forward to welcoming you back to the magic on your next visit!
The email cites the only updated perk between the new Explore Key pass and the retiring Enchant Key pass: “expanded access during the summer months.” Otherwise, the only difference is the $25 price increase: the Explore Key is $999, while the Enchant Key is $974.
