Tokyo Disney Resort Posts Special Video of ‘Big Band Beat: A Special Treat’

The live show “Big Band Beat” opened at the Broadway Music Theatre in Tokyo DisneySea on July 14, 2006, as part of the park’s 5th anniversary celebration. The show sees Mickey Mouse and friends dance and sing a revue of jazz classics with a live big band.

An updated version opened in 2021, after the pandemic-related closure, titled “Big Band Beat: A Special Treat.” Donald Duck was added to the show and the characters were given more dialogue. There has also been a Christmas version of the show at both Tokyo DisneySea and Disneyland Paris.
It closed on September 30, 2025, after a three-month-long “We Love Big Band Beat” finale celebration that included exclusive merchandise and special menus.
The official Tokyo Disney Resort YouTube channel earlier today posted a portion of the show online. Notably, audiences were not allowed to record the performance during its tenure, so this video offers a first look for audiences beyond the park.
The video description reads (translated from the original Japanese):
