Artisan Club Programming at Storyliving by Disney's Cotino

Cotino, the first Storyliving by Disney community, has released the programming for its on-site members’ club. The first residents moved into Cotino in Rancho Mirage, California, last year.

Within Cotino is the Artisan Club, a members-only club. This facility includes a signature restaurant, beach bar, state-of-the-art gym, outdoor sports courts, and two creative studio spaces.

Also included in the Artisan Club is a replica of the Parr’s house from Incredibles 2, a multi-purpose venue at Cotino. “Parr House is an exaggerated version of mid-century modern architecture,” Caleb Wild, Walt Disney Imagineering Senior Architect, told Disney Experiences. “Our goal was to heighten that aesthetic in a way that told an overtly Disney story while still fitting stylistically within the community.”

Part of that community integration is the curation of specialty wellness programming for the Artisan Club. The activities offered here were designed by Walt Disney Imagineers to include wellness elements and connections to beloved Disney characters or stories.

Some of these options currently include:

Moana Breathwork: A breathwork class inspired by Moana on the shores of Cotino Bay.

Encanto Latin Dance Cardio: A Colombian dance-style class created for all workout levels.

Incredibles Super Circuit: A full-body circuit workout with channels inspired by different characters from The Incredibles.

Villain Era Power Sculpt: A sculpt class inspired by Disney villains featuring slow-burn sets and bold poses.

Stitch & Splash: A paddleboard workout highlighting core moves and challenges.

In addition to fitness programming, the Artisan Club also features a host of other wellness experiences to enhance the daily lives of its members. These include excursions, culinary demonstrations, events, and educational programming.
