Just a few days before its permanent closure, DINOSAUR at Disney’s Animal Kingdom had a delayed opening. Though it usually opens during early entry, which began at 7:30 a.m., the ride did not open until 9:10 a.m.
DINOSAUR Temporarily Down

Instead of showing a wait time for DINOSAUR, the My Disney Experience app stated it is “Temporarily Closed.” It opened with a 15-minute wait at approximately 9:10 a.m.
On Thursday, we did notice that DINOSAUR was only using one of its two load stations for a time. But this didn’t last all day.
DINOSAUR has also had longer wait times than usual. There are only a few days left to experience the thrill ride. Sunday, February 1 will be its last day of operation before it permanently closes to be transformed into an Indiana Jones attraction.
That day will mark the extinction of DinoLand, U.S.A. as Restaurantosaurus also closes. The land will become a new Tropical Americas land including an Encanto ride, carousel, and playground.
