A Disneyland guest had to get four stitches on his forehead after another guest severely attacked him in the queue for Indiana Jones Adventure.
Guest Attacked at Indiana Jones Adventure
According to Reddit posts, a man in light green sweatpants attacked another man in the ride queue at about 12:45 p.m. on December 30. The victim “did not fight back,” said user @Visible_General_8283, while his 17-year-old daughter screamed and cried “stop hitting my dad.”
“It was incredibly traumatizing and the dude who assaulted the man ran off,” the user continued. “The older man was covered in blood on his face and Disney staff closed the line and sent staff to scrub blood off the floor in multiple spots.”
User @ImaginaryBag1452 also posted about the fight, stating “it lasted about 30 seconds and there were several people intervening to stop the guy. He managed to get some hits in even with people blocking. Then he stepped back a bit so others did too. That’s when he jumped in for one last sucker punch, which drew blood, and then he ran off with his family following. Several people were able to point him out to security. I don’t know for certain if he was caught but I would assume so based on the crowd and how close security was already”.
Users alleging to be the victim’s wife and teenaged daughter responded to these posts. His wife, user @Wittwitbarista, said that she could not share many details of what happened due to the pending investigation but that the perpetrator’s “whole family was cutting in line, the mom/wife admitted it. My hubby is a solid rule follower annnd it fell apart from there. Hubby had no concussion, stitches, okay honestly and again, Disney Security, Nurses and CM’s were all so magically wonderful.” She shared the below picture of her husband’s stitches.

An alleged witness also commented, “six family members were cutting through the line two at a time, I believe two adults and four kids.. it seems as if one guy was saying something snippy about them cutting through the line that caused the other guy to blindside him and start beating on him.” They added the line-cutters were “rude and disrespectful.”
The victim’s wife said a cast member “literally spawned in” and gave their kids free Lightning Lane passes for the rest of the day while she went with her husband to get checked out. He got four stitches and vouchers for replacement clothes because his “pants got destroyed and shirt [was] soaked in blood”.
She further explained that her husband didn’t fight back because “he didn’t want to risk false assault accusations, risk us being black listed and family getting removed and ending our Disney vacation early.”

The victim’s daughter also confirmed he is “perfectly okay”. She did say the stranger hit her, too, and that she is a “little traumatized” but okay and has no visible injuries. She posted a photo of them enjoying the park after her dad was patched up.
The family plans to press charges if the perpetrator is caught, although they had not received any updates from Disney as of their last comments a few days ago.
The incident was initially overshadowed by news from a different Indiana Jones attraction. Across the country, a cast member was injured and received stitches after stopping a runaway boulder at the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular in Walt Disney World.
