More Pavement Removed at Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin

Most of the pavement in front of Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at Magic Kingdom has been removed. Some pavement directly in front of the ride’s entrance was torn away last week.

There’s now a large patch of dirt and mud extending from the entrance nearly to the construction walls. Plywood on the mud is for crew members to walk on.

Though the ride has been closed since August 2025, work around the entrance didn’t begin until this month. The ride’s signs and entrance archway were removed following a permit for new signage.
