The third teaser for Avengers: Doomsday features Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, and James Marsden as Cyclops.
Avengers: Doomsday Teaser Trailer
The trio were among the Avengers: Doomsday cast revealed last March as part of an hours-long livestream. Other actors from the X-Men film series returning for Doomsday are Kelsey Grammer (Hank McCoy / Beast), Alan Cumming (Kurt Wagner / Nightcrawler), and Rebecca Romijn (Raven Darkhölme / Mystique).
Stewart last appeared as Professor X a.k.a. Charles Xavier in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022), in which he portrayed an alternate universe version of the character. This marked the character’s first MCU appearance. McKellen and Marsden last appeared as their X-Men characters in X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014), which was not part of the MCU.
The first Avengers: Doomsday teaser featured Chris Evans as Steve Rogers / Captain America. The second teaser highlighted the return of Chris Hemsworth as Thor.
Robert Downey, Jr. is also returning but as Doctor Doom instead of Tony Stark / Iron Man.
Avengers: Doomsday will be in theaters on December 18, 2026. Tom Hiddleston (Loki) says the film is “absolutely brilliant.“
