Views of the Seven Seas Lagoon from ‘Ohana are currently obstructed by refurbishment work taking place at Disney’s Polynesian Resort.
‘Ohana Seven Seas Lagoon Views Obstructed

The disclaimer was posted on the ‘Ohana restaurant website:
Beginning January 15, 2026, portions of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will undergo exterior maintenance. During this time, views of the Seven Seas Lagoon from ‘Ohana may be partially or completely obstructed. We apologize for any inconvenience.

‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is known for its sweeping waterfront views of Bay Lake, over which you can also spot Cinderella Castle and the fireworks.

As of this time, there are no changes to ‘Ohana’s operating hours or menus, and it remains open for its signature island-inspired breakfast and dinner, and character dining.
Construction at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

Construction work has been ongoing at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, starting with a new roadway entrance that opened late last year, replacing the former entrance off Seven Seas Drive.

Crews also fixed the roof of the Aotearoa Building and then moved to the exterior stairs at one end of the building. The staircase was completely torn down and rebuilt with steps, railings, and a fresh coat of dark wood paint.
