A Dino Institute snack cart is still operational at Disney’s Animal Kingdom even though DinoLand U.S.A. closed earlier this month.
Dino Institute Snack Cart

This outdoor vending cart features The Dino Institute logo on the front. The Dino Institute was the setting of the DINOSAUR ride and adjacent Restaurantosaurus, both of which closed permanently on February 1.
The cart is on the walkway leading from the DinoLand construction walls to the Theater in the Wild with Finding Nemo: The Big Blue…and Beyond. Guests can also catch the ECORHYTHMiCS band performing in this area.
DinoLand U.S.A.

DinoLand permanently closed with the closures of DINOSAUR and Restaurantosaurus in early February. The rest of the land closed in phases over the last year. The area is now blocked off to guests and an updated guidemap without the land is available.

Tropical Americas

DinoLand will be transformed into Tropical Americas featuring the village of Pueblo Esperanza. DINOSAUR will become an Indiana Jones attraction. Dinosaur Treasures will become a new shop and Restaurantosaurus will become a new restaurant. The other new attractions will be an Encanto ride, carousel, and playground.
The new land will open in 2027.
