Dr. Seeker Actor Wallace Langham Says Goodbye to DINOSAUR with Cast Members

Though DINOSAUR at Disney’s Animal Kingdom permanently closed to guests last night, cast members got to say their final farewell on Monday. And they were joined by a special guest — Dr. Seeker himself, Wallace Langham.

Langham appeared in costume as Dr. Seeker and posed for photos with cast in front of DINOSAUR. Photographer Michael Huang shared his picture with Langham in the Rope Drop Humor Facebook group, writing, “This morning, I met this guy in a white lab coat who tried to get me and my friends into a Time Rover. Granted, it was tempting. But, it was not something we were seeking this cold, cold morning. So, we politely declined.”

Attractions cast member Rhys Moskowitz also shared a photo with Langham, commenting, “I met that guy too, but all he did was give me my letter of resignation! 😡 0/10 terrible encounter”.

Though Disney fans might know him best as a heck of a paleontologist, Langham has a long career including The Larry Sanders Show, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and CSI: Vegas, Veronica’s Closet, and For All Mankind.

In addition to Langham, the DINOSAUR pre-show starred Phylicia Rashad as Dr. Marsh.

DinoLand will be transformed into a Tropical Americas land featuring the village of Pueblo Esperanza. DINOSAUR will become an Indiana Jones attraction. There will also be a new Encanto ride, carousel, and playground.

Dinosaur Treasures and Restaurantosaurus will be reimagined into a new shop and restaurant respectively.

The new land will open in 2027.
