Disney has filed another permit for the Bluey takeover of Conservation Station at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Rafiki’s Planet Watch, including Conservation Station, will close in just a few days for a refurbishment that will bring Bluey to the park.
Conservation Station Permit

This Notice of Commencement filed by Disney’s Sourcing & Procurement division is for the Disney-owned Buena Vista Construction Company to “Provide labor, material and/or electrical for construction” at Conservation Station.
This is the second permit to reference electrical work. Another permit was for “General Construction” at the building.

The Bluey experience is expected to largely replace The Animation Experience at Conservation Station. Disney stated current “favorites” including the Veterinary Treatment Room will remain after the refurbishment.
Outside Conservation Station, animals from Bluey’s home country of Australia will move into the Affection Section petting zoo. The current animals will be re-homed.
Rafiki’s Planet Watch will operate through February 22. It will reopen with Bluey this summer. Guests will be able to dance and play games with Bluey and Bingo and meet the Heeler siblings.
The Animation Experience will move to The Magic of Disney Animation at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, also opening this summer.
