What appears to be significant mold has built up in the Lightning Lane queue of Slinky Dog Dash at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. There’s also cracked paint, either from the mildew or from guests.
Update: Our sources familiar with the matter have assured us that it is not mold in the queue, just dirt.
Mold in Slinky Dog Dash Lightning Lane Queue

There are gross brown spots all over this Slinky Dog mural, which acts as a wall of the queue. The mold stands out against the whites of Slinky’s eyes and the white lettering. Mold develops in warm areas with moisture.
As for the paint, some sections have completely peeled away. While the peeling paint on the corner of the wall is more par for the course, there are badly cracked sections on flat parts of the wall, too.
Hopefully this gets cleaned and fixed up soon. We also recently reported on the badly damaged queue for The Barnstormer at Magic Kingdom.
