Crews have started painting the front of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom. It’s being restored to its classic color scheme.
Cinderella Castle Repainting

The gold trim around the front entrance of the castle has been painted pale gray — the same color as the existing trim and columns on the stage.

The coat of arms above the entrance is still gold. Some of the more intricate trim around the balcony and clock is also still gold, and walls above the balcony are still pale pink.

Meanwhile, one of the castle’s tallest towers has been fully painted gray. It still have some metallic gold sections around the blue roof and on railings. Another tall tower is mostly gray except for some pink on the front.
Aerial photographer bioreconstruct highlighted the partially-painted tower in his above photo, shared on X.

As we reported yesterday, most of the back of the castle is now gray. More pink walls behind blue roofs have been repainted. Though the roofing hasn’t changed yet, it’s expected to be painted a lighter shade of blue.

A wall on the west side was painted gray overnight. And the second tower from the left in this picture has mostly gray trim now instead of gold. The gold is also gone from the ramparts between two towers.

Another wall has also been painted on the east side, as well as one of the small turrets.
Some areas that are almost completely invisible from the ground have been painted, too. In bioreconstruct’s above photo, we can see a turret behind a wall on the east side has been painted gray.

For reference, pictured above is the castle in 2019 with its original color scheme and in 2021 after it was painted for the 50th anniversary.
