After adding themed scrim and removing the roof of the Pete’s Silly Sideshow circus tent, the refurbishment appears to be growing outward. The meet-and-greet venue itself in Storybook Circus at the Magic Kingdom is closed for refurbishment for the foreseeable future.
Storybook Circus Refurbishment

Construction walls have been added to the side of Big Top Souvenirs closest to Pete’s Silly Sideshow tent, though it remains possible to enter the store through the doors.

At the tent itself, the roof is still gone, and the themed scrim remains.

The new construction walls follow the side of Big Top Souvenirs.

Planters have been added to the side of the doors, through which our reporter was able to sneak a peek behind the walls, though no visible work appears to have been done yet.

At the side of Big Top Souvenirs, near the Smellephants on Parade, planters have also been added. Two smellephants mark either end of the walls, as obscuring these could change the current experience, and moving them might prove too cumbersome due to the smellitzers.
The Pete’s Silly Sideshow circus tent had fallen into disrepair over several months last year, with normal fading from the sun as well as a tear in the roof. During the refurbishment, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Daisy are meeting outside in Storybook Circus.
As always, guests can meet Mickey in the Town Square Theater at the front of the park, and Pluto roams Storybook Circus. This has not been the only refurbishment at Storybook Circus, as the mural on the side of its train station was recently refreshed.
