Rise of the Resistance is currently closed at Disneyland for refurbishment. We recently spotted some work being done on the queues. Now, that work is behind construction walls and scrim.
Rise of the Resistance Refurbishment

Scrim now covered the scaffolding that has been erected behind the construction wall to the left of the Lightning Lane entrance. It surrounds a resistance turret near the entrance of the attraction.

Previously, the scaffolding around the turret was fully visible to guests.


Additional walls have gone up around the attractions, where we previously saw Cast Members touching up some paint in the queue.

The ride has been closed since January 20, and there is no reopening date listed at this time. Watch our on-ride POV of Disneyland’s Rise of the Resistance with functioning cannons:
