Crews have removed some of the siding of Disney’s Beach Club Resort during a lengthy refurbishment of the Walt Disney World hotel.
Beach Club Resort Refurbishment

Behind scaffolding at the end of this wing, we can see that the building’s blue siding is mostly gone. Tyvek sheathing is visible around the windows and balconies.

The scaffolding continues across the buildings around the Tidal Leisure pool, which is currently closed for refurbishment. Construction walls block off the entire area. During our recent visit, a door in one wall was open for a crew member to walk through, and we could see paneling on the dirt ground for crew members to roll in equipment.

The scaffolding continues all the way around the pool area and across another wing. This wall still has siding in place.
Refurbishment of the resort’s porte cochere was completed in December but the resort’s overall refurbishment was extended through 2027.
The Stormalong Bay pool area went through an extensive refurbishment last summer. The Yacht Club lobby was renovated in 2021 and the Beach Club lobby in 2023.
