Steel Canopy Over Avengers Campus Expansion Rapidly Growing at Disney California Adventure

The steel canopy currently being installed in the Avengers Campus is now easily visible from Cars Land next door.

While at Disney California Adventure on February 26, we saw Cast Members and other crew members on a cherry picker actively inspecting recent installations on the canopy.

Also notable is how visible this steel framework is from next door in Cars Land, where it looms over the Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters attraction.

Once these white frames are fully installed, roofing will be added.

Avengers Campus Expansion

The expansion to Avengers Campus includes two new rides, Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab. The former will see heroes jumping through the multiverse to battle King Thanos, while Stark Flight Lab stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, leading guests through a test of new tech.

Walt Disney Imagineering Feature

Yesterday, Walt Disney Imagineering shared a behind-the-scenes look at the ongoing Avengers Campus expansion construction as part of their Engineers Week content. Cast Members on the project also signed a steel beam that will soon be installed as part of a longstanding construction tradition.
