Disneyland Resort cast members had the opportunity to sign a steel beam that will soon be installed in the Avengers Campus expansion at Disney California Adventure. This is a tradition with new Disney attractions and cast members recently signed a beam for the new Encanto ride at Walt Disney World.
Avengers Campus Beam Signing
Disneyland Resort president Thomas Mazloum shared photos of himself and other cast signing the beam backstage. He wrote:
Cast Members left their mark on a project that will double the size of the land and bring more adventures to life. But what stood out most was the excitement and pride everyone brought to something that represents our future.
I can’t wait for everyone to experience what’s ahead!
The expansion to Avengers Campus includes two new rides, Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab. The former will see heroes jumping through the multiverse to battle King Thanos, while Stark Flight Lab stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man leading guests through a test of new tech.
Construction also indicates the land will get a new restroom facility, too. And walls are up around the former Tower of Terror FastPass distribution station outside Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! Check out our most recent construction update.
