Exterior refurbishment work on Disney’s Yacht Club continues into 2026. Here is an updated look at what is happening.

The majority of the work is currently taking place on the area of the resort that is closest to Swan and Dolphin Hotels. As you can see above, construction walls block off the area, and scaffolding covers the buildings.

Disney previously announced exterior maintenance on both Yacht and Beach Club Resorts was planned through October 2025. Then, they announced it would last until late 2026, and Disney’s Beach Club Resort will undergo work through 2027.

While efforts will be made to minimize disruptions, construction may be noticeable during daytime hours. All services—including valet, luggage assistance, and transportation—will remain available. All pools, resort dining and most other amenities will remain available.

Considering it appears that the siding has been removed in some areas for work, this is a rather involved refurbishment. It’s not a simple paint job, although that is likely part of the process as well.

Construction crews are present and actively working on the facade of the building pictured above.

Signs on the walls read “It’s kind of fun to do the impossible” and “I can never stand still. I must explore and experiment.”

Yachtsman Steakhouse and Crew’s Cup Lounge restaurants at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort are closed for refurbishment as part of overall maintenance at the resort.

Stormalong Bay, the pool area for Yacht Club and Beach Club, reopened after an extensive refurbishment this past summer. Yacht Club guest rooms were refurbished last year as well. The resort’s lobby was updated in 2021.
