The film stars Pedro Pascal returning as Din Djarin a.k.a. The Mandalorian alongside Grogu a.k.a. “Baby Yoda.” The cast also includes Sigourney Weaver as Ward, Jeremy Allen White as Rotta the Hutt, and Jonny Coyne reprising his role from the Disney+ series as an Imperial Warlord. The Mandalorian Disney+ series ran for three seasons from 2019 to 2023. A fourth season was in development, but it’s not clear if that is still planned or if the film is replacing it.

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios will get a new Mandalorian and Grogu adventure starting on the day the film is released. In the new story, “Hondo Ohnaka catches wind of a deal on Tatooine between ex-Imperial officers and pirates, setting the stage for a high-stakes chase across the galaxy. Guests will team up with Mando and Grogu to track them down and claim a bounty in a dynamic, galaxy-spanning adventure.”

Disney Experiences chairperson and soon-to-be Disney CEO Josh D’Amaro was instrumental in these experience updates.

Guests will fly from Batuu to Tatooine and then have the opportunity to choose their next destination from Coruscant, Bespin, and Endor. Guests in the engineer position will make the decision and get to interact with Grogu.
