The Avatar threequel earned Best Visual Effects, beating Jurassic World Rebirth, F1, Sinners, and The Lost Bus.
Deborah L. Scott was nominated for Best Costume Design for Fire and Ash but Kate Hawley earned the honor for Netflix’s Frankenstein.
Pixar’s Elio and Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Zootopia 2 were both nominated for Best Animated Feature but lost to Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters.
Short film Retirement Plan, which streams on Disney+ in UK/Europe, was nominated for Best Animated Short. The award went to The Girl Who Cried Pearls instead.
