There’s more scaffolding in front of the former MuppetVision 3D theater at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Muppets Courtyard closed last summer to be reimagined into Monstropolis, a Monsters, Inc. land.
Monstropolis Theater Construction

Throughout February, brick was removed from the theater facade in preparation of a new marquee and decorations. This weekend, photographer bioreconstruction shared photos of new scaffolding in front of the theater. Crews have added more to the scaffolding at the front of the building.

The scaffolding continues around the clock tower. We may start seeing signs of the new marquee and tower decorations soon. Compare to the concept art and old MuppetVision 3D facade pictured below.

We don’t yet know what show will be inside the theater, which is being renamed The Glob according to the concept art.
Gonzo’s Royal Flush

As we previously reported, there’s also scaffolding around Gonzo’s Royal Flush, the land’s restroom building.

The scaffolding now wraps around the front and side of the building, with a tower next to the PizzeRizzo patio. The restrooms and quick-service restaurant will remain but be re-themed, similar to the MuppetVision 3D theater.
