The ventilation panels on The Magic of Disney Animation Building are currently being painted green on Monday, March 30.

Crews are currently working on the left side of the building. They were painted in a white primer before being painted a dark green color.

So far, only a handful have been painted. We spotted four crew members actively painting during our visit on the afternoon of March 30.

The right side of the building, however, appears to be complete. These are not fully visible in the concept art for the area, pictured below.

A giant sorcerer’s hat will be added between the columns, inspired by the real Roy E. Disney Animation Building at the Walt Disney Studios.

We also spotted a new metal cover in between the columns.

Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! and consequently the refreshed studio-inspired courtyard will open on May 26. Disney has not announced an opening date for The Magic of Disney Animation. The attraction will include six new meet and greets, an art class hosted by Olaf (instead of live artists), and a playground inspired by Mary Blair’s Alice in Wonderland concept art.
