Disney Parks revealed in a new social media video that the pavement in the reimagined Animation Courtyard features character autographs, handprints, and footprints.
Walt Disney Studios Courtyard Pavement

The courtyard is being transformed into the Walt Disney Studios Courtyard, inspired by the real studios in Burbank, California. Directly in front of The Magic of Disney Animation building are new colorful squares of concrete signed by characters.

The pavement is inspired by the autographs of celebrities at both the original Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood and the replica at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which houses Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.

The character autographs include Hercules and Pegasus, Cinderella, Yen Sid, Stitch, Pooh and Piglet, Maui, Moana and Heihei, Mufasa and Simba, and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.
The Magic of Disney Animation will resemble the Roy E. Disney Animation Building in Burbank. Inside, guests will encounter characters, learn to draw with Olaf, and play on an Alice in Wonderland playground.
Next door will be the new Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!, set to open with the courtyard on May 26. Disney has not announced an opening date for The Magic of Disney Animation.
