Disney Parks shared new photos of The Electric Mayhem performing their original song “Can You Picture That?” as part of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets.
The Electric Mayhem Performance

The song debuted in The Muppet Movie (1979) during the sequence where the Muppets disguise Fozzie’s Studebaker. Disney stated the band will perform it at their “sold out show” in Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, likely meaning the performance will play on a screen at the ride’s exit. There’s no spot for a stage set during the actual roller-coaster.

Just like Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, guests will enter G-Force Records for a V.I.P. tour then race across town in a limo to reach a concert in time. At the end of the Aerosmith version, guests saw the band seemingly performing live on a screen above the photo redemption area before entering Rock Around The Shop.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is a quick reimagining of the ride, with most changes expected for the pre-show, which closed early. An opening date hasn’t been announced but it’s scheduled to open this summer. With such a quick turnaround, there’s no time to add a whole new scene that isn’t pre-recorded.

The Electric Mayhem consists of Dr. Teeth (Bill Barretta), Animal (Eric Jacobson), Floyd Pepper (Matt Vogel), Janice (David Rudman), Zoot (Dave Goelz), and Lips (Peter Linz). Guests will also see Scooter, Kermit, Miss Piggy, and penguins in the new pre-show.
Two songs have been announced for the ride.
