Former Burger King Whopper Bar at Universal Orlando CityWalk Now Behind Scrim

The Burger King Whopper Bar at Universal Orlando’s CityWalk is no more. Elements of the former dining location remain as they prepare it for the business transition. We stopped by the former location on April 22 to take a look.

Closed Whopper Bar

The Burger King signage is still on the elevator, which takes guests up to the food court area. Other restaurants still in the spot are Moe's Southwest Grill, Bread Box, Panda Express, and Bend the Bao.

On the outside of the building, we could still see the Whopper Bar signage hung above the Panda Express sign.

Inside, the Whopper Bar ordering area has been surrounded by privacy curtains and black scancions. We could see that the menus on the wall have been removed, though the rest of the restaurant's signage appears still intact.

Whopper Bar, which opened in 2009, was the first of its kind from Burger King. The sign on the wall reads:

It started as a spark.

It spread into an inferno.

100% flame-broiled beef.

Topped with unique ingredients.

America’s Favorite burger, with more than a million ways to have it your way.

The Burger King Whopper Bar allowed you to choose from over 20 toppings as your sandwich was assembled before your eyes. It closed on April 21 to make way for a Five Guys location.
