Another cross section of steel has been added to Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure.
Steel Canopy Construction in Avengers Campus
Steady progress has been made in recent weeks at Avengers campus. While tracking updates is tedious work (just look at all those steel beams!), the section on the right in the photo above has been added to recently.
Compare the two photos above. The left is from February, and the right is from our most recent visit. More horizontal beams have been added in the center.
Once these white frames are fully installed, roofing will be added.
Avengers Campus Expansion
The expansion to Avengers Campus includes two new rides, Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab. The former will see heroes jumping through the multiverse to battle King Thanos, while Stark Flight Lab stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, leading guests through a test of new tech.
Walt Disney Imagineering Feature
Walt Disney Imagineering recently shared a behind-the-scenes look at the ongoing Avengers Campus expansion construction. Cast Members on the project also signed a steel beam that will soon be installed as part of a longstanding construction tradition.
