REVIEW: Cinnamon Roll Cheesecake and Orange Cream Cheesecake at Disneyland Resort

Several new food items arrived at Disneyland Resort, and two of them are the Cinnamon Roll Cheesecake and the Orange Cream Cheesecake. We tried them both to review and let you know if they are worth the purchase.

Cinnamon Roll Cheesecake – $6.99

Cinnamon cheesecake with cream cheese topping

It’s located at Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta at Disney California Adventure.

Cinnamon Roll Cheesecake - $6.99

This is almost everything you would want from this dessert starting with a nice crumbly, but moist, graham cracker crust, and fluffy, tasty, sweet cream cheesecake. The cinnamon topping is delicious, but there should be more of it to call this a true cinnamon roll dessert.

The icing on top is light and sweet but doesn’t have much flavor. The dessert is enjoyable but doesn’t have enough cinnamon roll flavor and isn’t particularly memorable or special. The main flavor is plain tart and sweet cheesecake, and it’s a good one, but this loses points for lacking the impact of flavor it should have.

Anyone who is a fan of cheesecake would like this, but big cinnamon roll fans might be a bit disappointed with their New York-style cheesecake with a hint of cinnamon.

Orange Cream Cheesecake – $7.99

Orange cheesecake topped with vanilla chantilly and orange crunch

This dessert is located at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe at Disneyland Park.

Orange Cream Cheesecake - $7.99

This cheesecake is well-balanced and very orange in the best way. The orange to cheesecake flavor ratio is great, citrus tart, and sweet. It has that same moist graham cracker crust as the other Cinnamon Roll Cheesecake we tried.

The fluffy chantilly cream is subtle and the right choice instead of a thicker cream cheese or icing. However, the crunch topping is what takes it to the next level. It tastes exactly like the crumble coating of the strawberry shortcake ice cream bars you had as a kid, but orange creamsicle flavored. It’s genius and so tasty.

The shaved orange creamsicle coating was the cherry on top. This dessert was a work of art. If you love orange and cream, run to Jolly Holiday. This is a crowd pleaser and a home run.
