Pete’s Silly Sideshow at Magic Kingdom has a new tent roof, replacing the torn and faded roof that was removed earlier this year. The meet and greet location has been closed since January, with characters meeting outside instead.

The new roof consists of the same two-toned red stripes as the former roof. It is not yet pulled tight across the tension cords, which we saw crew members working on last week.

Below is what the tent looked like back in November, when we spotted a ripped seam. Note the significant color difference due to the old roof’s sun damage.

Disney has not announced a reopening date for Pete’s Silly Sideshow.
The adjacent Big Top Souvenirs gift shop is also closed to have its roof refurbished.
Due to the construction, the “Smellephants on Parade” activity has been altered.
