A new mural has appeared on a wall outside the Tomorrowland Speedway at Magic Kingdom.
Tomorrowland Speedway Mural

The vibrant art depicts red, blue, and orange cars on the racetrack with Space Mountain and a starry sky above. “Start your engines!” is in big text in the upper left corner. Most of the mural is blue, white, and black but yellow, orange, and red stripes run down the left side with a checkered racing flag.

The mural is to the right when approaching the Tomorrowland Speedway entrance. This wall used to be plain gray, as you can see in our photo below.

Tomorrowland Speedway is a race car attraction with gas-powered vehicles. Disneyland Resort announced their intention to switch Autopia, the west coast version of the ride, to electric vehicles but no announcement has been made for the Magic Kingdom ride.
Racers at least 32″ tall can drive their own car as long as they are accompanied by someone 54″ tall. Guests 54″ tall can drive by themselves.
