Construction continues to progress at Disney California Adventure for the expansion of Avengers Campus, which will include two new attractions.
Avengers Campus Construction Progress – May 21, 2026
Since our last update, there are fewer boom lifts underneath the largely unchanged, white steel canopy frame, with just one yellow vehicle remaining. The vehicle is surrounded by construction materials.
Over by a nearby concrete structure, there is less green scaffolding, but new black scrim.
The bathrooms, however, have the biggest changes. The undecorated walls have less scaffolding surrounding them, and the scrim around the tops of the pillars has been removed, revealing the square facade shape.
The parts of the expansion visible around the rockwork in Radiator Springs is unchanged as well, with the steelwork still concealed by scrim.
Avengers Campus Expansion
The expansion to Avengers Campus includes two new rides, Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab. The former will see heroes jumping through the multiverse to battle King Thanos, while Stark Flight Lab stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, leading guests through a test of new tech.
