All the black keys have been reinstalled on the giant piano motif below the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster guitar at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. As part of the Muppets reimagining, one white key was painted gold, inspired by the gold tooth of The Electric Mayhem frontman Dr. Teeth.

We saw the gold key when construction walls came down a few days ago, pictured above. For painting, the black keys were removed.

Although the rolling planters are still stationed around the guitar, it’s still visible through/above the planters.

Now all of the black keys are back in place. The gold paint dried enough for the final black key to be placed overnight (pictured above is what it looked like on May 4).

For reference, below is what the guitar and piano used to look like.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will open on May 26, 2026. It will not use a virtual queue for the public opening, but will use one for Passholder previews earlier in May.
